This fine song was written by Paul Comrie-Thomson and recorded by The Saints, and all creation and performance rights are hereby proclaimed. I am grateful to all concerned for their generous permission to have the song associated with The Tower.

The Saints, who started as perhaps the world’s first punk band but became so much more, need no introduction. Comrie is a gentleman rocker and a philosopher (and has the degrees to prove it). He was part owner and editor of Rolling Stone Australia in its glory days, and went on to manage The Saints for ten years. He is an impressive song-writer and I believe is just biding his time at the moment (as presenter with myself of the Radio National program 'Counterpoint') before unlashing this aspect of his talent on the world. -- Michael Duffy
